The Wordsworth House in the Georgian town of Cockermouth, grows a selection of vegetables in their very own working kitchen garden. They've even grown the fruit, vegetables and herbs they think Wordsworth House may have grown back in the 18th century, before it became part of the National Trust. The maids and servants you will find about the house will tell you all about what it would have been like to live there, and what duties they would have carried out. The Wordsworth House kitchens are still used today by the kitchen servants who cook authentic 18th century food from the crops they grow in the garden!
