Currently Lead Ranger for Borrowdale, Buttermere, Ennerdale and a stretch of the coast near Whitehaven. I have worked in the Lake District for ten years and ten years before that in Yorkshire Region. The role is very broad working with the Ranger team and other colleagues welcoming our visitors, neighbours and tenants who enjoy the area.
The National Trust is Europe's largest conservation charity. In the Lake District, we look after a
quarter of the National Park, 125 mountains, 24 lakes, 59 listed buildings, 14 holiday cottages, 3
campsites and 90 tenanted farms. We welcome 19 million visitors throughout the year, opening the
Lakes up for ever, for everyone - Four seasons, One Lake District.
