Assistant Ranger Fell Foot Park
I have spent the previous year working for two conservation charities, I am now privileged to work maintaining the stunning lake shore parkland at Fell Foot Park. I’m working on a wildflower meadow restoration project and leading activities to get children closer to nature.
The National Trust is Europe's largest conservation charity. In the Lake District, we look after a
quarter of the National Park, 125 mountains, 24 lakes, 59 listed buildings, 14 holiday cottages, 3
campsites and 90 tenanted farms. We welcome 19 million visitors throughout the year, opening the
Lakes up for ever, for everyone - Four seasons, One Lake District.
